About Us
We're a sociable, encouraging group with members of all ages from all walks of life.
In addition we're attached to the Toastmasters network. A global non-profit organisation that oversees speaking clubs around the world.
Our meetings take place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at the Imperial Hotel, First Avenue, Hove,
East Sussex, BN3 2GU - 01273 77732. 7.30 - 9.30 pm

'Your Performance Workshop'.
'Your Performance Workshop' launched on Wed. 27th Jan and was well received.
There were 2 workshop/presentation sessions. Maggie Hall took us through the processes to relax our body and how we can prepare to speak. Mike Smythe covered the elements of the mind with reference to NLP and other techniques.

All
contestants must be fully paid up members “in good standing” and have presented
at least five speeches from the Competent Communicator Manual by the date of the
first competition.
